Fun and Work in the Final Days of 2014-15

Prom 2015 was a good time had by all. Students had fun, everyone conducted themselves appropriately, and even the chaperones got in on the dancing towards the end of a very successful event. Congratulations to the Junior Class Prom Committee and all the Junior Class Advisors. Well done!

While marquee events are the highlights of May, class work continues at S.H.S. as illustrated by the following pics of recent classroom activities:

Students in Mr. May's Health class engaged in CPR training courtesy of our friends at Stowe Rescue---including Lucas Hall, S.H.S. alumnus and now R.N. at Rutland Medical Center.

On May 8, five SHS students competed against 12 other VT high schools in the VT Treasury Cup Challenge, a quiz game format competition that tests students knowledge of economics and personal finance. While they did not bring home the trophy this year, coach Roger Murphy looks forward to bringing a team to the event next year as Stowe High's Financial Literacy initiative gains more traction and participants.
